Marketing your site via social networks (such as Facebook and Twitter) has become practically necessary. There are many ways to accomplish this but Superclean prescribes methods that work best with your "style," as your interaction with social networks might be everyday or just once in a while.
Facebook
On the right sidebar of this page, you should see a simple "like" button for Facebook. Please don't be shy. You can get much more sophisticated and turn your Drupal website into a full-blown Facebook application, starting with the ability of folks to interact with their Facebook ID's. You can also have new content on your website automatically update on your Facebook profile page.
You might want to just keep it simple, though, like we have here.
Twitter
Twitter, the micro-blogging service, has become very useful for keeping your niche audience tuned into what you are doing. Again, how to pursue this really depends on your style. We can designate certain content that you create on your site to automatically go out in your Twitter feed.
You can also "pull in" Twitter feeds based on a profile or a hashtag topic. Look over to the right and you should see the feed from #Drupal. Browse through more pages on this site and you will see more feeds. For example, on the Danny Barnes page, you will see his feed @wildknees. Notice also that in this paragraph, we can bring these links "inline" thanks to Apture, another social networking site.
